在原声带《The Lion King (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)》中收录插曲版及片尾曲版。在2003年发售的《The Lion King Complete Score》中收录重混版。
歌曲获1994年第67届奥斯卡金像奖最佳原创歌曲、1994年金球奖最佳原创歌曲。
电影中的使用
在早期的构想中，打算使用丁满和彭彭演唱该歌曲，但遭到了艾尔顿·约翰的反对，表示歌曲承袭了迪士尼经典情歌的传统，其在表达辛巴与娜娜之间的爱上有言语所不能及之处。
听从了艾尔顿·约翰的建议，在开头使用丁满(内桑·雷恩)和彭彭(埃林·萨贝拉)演唱，进入辛巴与娜娜的镜头之后，使用其歌唱配音约瑟夫·威廉姆斯及萨利·多斯基演唱，由克丽丝特尔·爱德华兹担任女声主音。合唱中辛巴与娜娜的对视更是成为经典。最后再回到丁满与彭彭视角，为歌曲划上句号。
在《狮子王3（狮子王1 1/2）》中对应的情节处，同样使用了该歌曲作为插曲，但因中间插入了主角丁满和彭彭想要打断两人的情节，这首歌曲也被经常打断。
